Rowing Competes in Petite Finals in Day Two of Knecht Cup

WEST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, N.J. (April 12, 2015) – The Franklin Pierce University rowing team entered two boats in the Knecht Cup on Sunday in West Windsor Township, N.J. on Mercer Lake.  

The first race was Sunday morning in the DI/DII Women’s Club Four placing third with a time of 8:10.31. The boat consisted of senior Bianca Baldelli (coxswain), sophomore Nicole Rode, senior Paige McGroarty, senior Hayley Brown and senior Madeline Morrill. With their time from yesterday in the DII/DIII Women’s Club Eight qualified them to compete in the DI/DII Women’s Club Eight Petite Final. The team placed sixth with a time of 8:05.09. The eight consisted of Baldelli (coxswain), Rode, sophomore Kirsten Salois, Morrill, McGroarty, freshman Danielle Clarke, junior Megan DeFelice, freshman Stephanie Priest, senior Ashley Lavoie.
