Men’s Cross Country/Track & Field’s Arlabosse, Rua Earn CoSIDA Academic All-District Honors

RINDGE, N.H. (June 6, 2019) – Sophomores Hugo Arlabosse (Marseille, France) and Antonio Rua (Burrillville, R.I.) of the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country and track & field program have been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District I First Team, as announced last week by CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America). As a result of the selection, both student-athletes advance to the Academic All-America ballot.
Cross Country/Track & Field Cleans up in Recent USTFCCCA Awards

RINDGE, N.H. (March 5, 2019) – The Franklin Pierce University cross country and track & field programs have been busy hauling in awards in recent weeks. Over the course of February and early March, the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced multiple awards selections, all of which have featured Ravens as honorees. These include academic awards for the cross country season, as well as All-Region performers and Regional award winners for the indoor track & field season.
Fenoff to Represent Men’s Cross Country at USATF Cross Country Championships

RINDGE, N.H. (January 30, 2019) – Freshman Riley Fenoff (Danville, Vt.) of the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team is headed for the USA Track & Field Cross Country Championships this weekend. The event is set for Saturday, Feb. 2, at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Fla.
Reed Earns All-Region Honors to Lead Men’s Cross Country to Ninth Place at NCAA East Regional

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. (November 17, 2018) – Junior Jason Reed (Foxborough, Mass.) earned All-East Region honors for the second straight season on Saturday afternoon, as he led the way for the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team at the NCAA Championship East Regional, hosted by Adelphi. Reed checked in with a 24th-place finish in the 170-runner field to lead the Ravens to a ninth-place finish, out of 24 teams.
Fenoff Earns All-NE10 Honors, Men’s Cross Country Seventh at NE10 Championship

HOPKINTON, N.H. (November 4, 2018) – The youth was out in full force on Sunday morning, for the Northeast-10 Conference Men’s Cross Country Championship, hosted by Franklin Pierce University at Hopkinton State Fairgrounds. Freshmen accounted for eight of the top-21 finishers, all of which earned All-NE10 honors at the conclusion of the day. With his eighth-place finish in a 151-runner field, Riley Fenoff (Danville, Vt.) of the Franklin Pierce men’s cross country team was the second freshman across the line and earned All-NE10 Second Team accolades in his NE10 Championship debut. Fenoff led the Ravens to a seventh-place finish in the 15-team meet.

(October 25, 2018) – Freshman Riley Fenoff (Danville, Vt.) of the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Athlete of the Week, as well as Rookie of the Week, for the week ending on Oct. 21, as announced earlier this week by the Conference office.
Fenoff Wins Kirsh Cup, Men’s Cross Country Finishes Sixth

HOPKINTON, N.H. (October 20, 2018) – Freshman phenom Riley Fenoff (Danville, Vt.) claimed his first collegiate cross country title on Saturday, as the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team hosted the sixth annual Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup, at Hopkinton State Fairgrounds. Fenoff paced a field of 106 runners, to lead the Ravens to a sixth-place finish, out of 11 teams.

In addition, freshman Alana Thompson (Westampton, N.J.) was selected as Northeast-10 Rookie of the Week on the women’s side.
Men’s Cross Country Places Fifth at Saratoga Invitational

SARATOGA, N.Y. (September 29, 2018) – Freshman Riley Fenoff (Danville, Vt.) led the way yet again on Saturday for the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team. He and junior Jason Reed (Foxborough, Mass.) both notched top-15 finishes in a 241-runner field at the Saratoga Invitational, hosted by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. As a squad, the Ravens finished fifth in a 14-team meet which featured primarily Division III competition.

(September 19, 2018) – The Franklin Pierce University cross country program currently has both its men’s and women’s teams ranked among the top 10 teams in the East Region, as announced on Tuesday by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. Franklin Pierce is one of six schools in the East Region to currently have both its men’s and women’s teams regionally ranked.

Men’s Cross Country Finishes Fourth at UMass Dartmouth Invitational

DARTMOUTH, Mass. (September 15, 2018) – Freshman Riley Fenoff (Danville, Vt.) led three Ravens in the top 25 of a 295-runner field on Saturday, as the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team finished fourth, out of 41 teams, at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational. Fenoff finished in 12th, and was followed by sophomore Hugo Arlabosse (Marseille, France) in 15th and junior Jason Reed (Foxborough, Mass.) in 22nd.

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (September 8, 2018) – It was six Ravens inside the top 25 of a 63-runner field on Saturday, as the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team finished second, out of seven teams, at the Smith College Invitational.
Men’s Cross Country Opens Season at Mount St. Mary’s 5k Duals

EMMITSBURG, Md. (August 31, 2018) – Freshman Riley Fenoff (Danville, Vt.) opened his collegiate career with a top-15 finish, in a 79-runner field laden with Division I talent, on Friday afternoon to lead the way for the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team at the Mount St. Mary’s 5k Duals. As a team at the season-opening meet, the Ravens went winless in the dual-meet format, falling to George Washington, Johns Hopkins, host Mount St. Mary’s and Maryland-Baltimore County.
