Men’s Cross Country’s Ham, Holmes Earn USTFCCCA All-Region Honors
Ham earns award for third time
RINDGE, N.H. (November 11, 2015) – Senior Colton Ham (Webster, N.H.) and junior Jon Holmes (Albany, N.Y.) have both earned All-East Region honors from the United State Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, as announced by the USTFCCCA on Monday.
The USTFCCCA bestows All-Region accolades to the top 25 finishers at each of the eight NCAA Regional meets held across the country. For Ham, it marked the third USTFCCCA All-East Region honor of his career.
On Sunday, at the Hopkinton State Fairgrounds, Ham ran a 10k time of 31:23.4, to finish sixth and qualify to advance to the NCAA National Championship race. Holmes later followed in 19th place, with a time of 32:15.1. The duo combined to lead the Ravens to a fourth place finish at the East Regional.
