Track & Field has Four Earn Spring NE10 Academic All-Conference Honors

EASTON, Mass. (June 17, 2019) – The Franklin Pierce University track & field program has had four student-athletes earn Academic All-Conference honors from the Northeast-10 Conference for the spring, outdoor season, as announced on Monday afternoon by the Conference office. Sophomore Hugo Arlabosse (Marseille, France), junior Tyler Hayes (Kings Park, N.Y.) and sophomore Antonio Rua (Burrillville, R.I.) earned the accolade for the men’s team, while junior Julia Cormier (Northwood, N.H.) was honored from the women’s team.

(June 16, 2019) – Sophomore Hugo Arlabosse (Marseille, France) and junior Trevor Guay (Londonderry, N.H.) of the Franklin Pierce University men’s track & field team have earned Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference honors for the winter, indoor season, as announced earlier this spring by the Conference office.

RINDGE, N.H. (June 6, 2019) – Sophomores Hugo Arlabosse (Marseille, France) and Antonio Rua (Burrillville, R.I.) of the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country and track & field program have been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District I First Team, as announced last week by CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America). As a result of the selection, both student-athletes advance to the Academic All-America ballot.
Track & Field has Three in Action at Second Day of NCAA Championships

KINGSVILLE, Texas (May 24, 2019) – For the Franklin Pierce University track & field program, it was three Ravens in action on Friday, at the second day of the NCAA Championships, hosted by Texas A&M-Kingsville, at Javelina Stadium. It would be one Raven who earned All-America honors, one Raven who is now assured of All-America plaudits on Saturday, and one Raven who narrowly missed All-America accolades.

INDIANAPOLIS (May 14, 2019) – The Franklin Pierce University track & field program will be represented by three student-athletes at the NCAA Championships, as announced Tuesday afternoon by the NCAA. For the women, senior CeCe Telfer (Lebanon, N.H.) and freshman Paola Brena (Queretaro, Mexico) will travel to the national meet, while sophomore Hugo Arlabosse (Marseille, France) has qualified on the men’s side.

(May 4, 2019) – Sophomore Hugo Arlabosse (Marseille, France) took home the hardware as the Northeast-10 Conference champion in the 800 meters on Saturday, as he led the way for the Franklin Pierce University men’s track & field team on the second and final day of the NE10 Championships, hosted by Southern New Hampshire. He was one of two medalists on the day for the Ravens, who finished the two-day meet in eighth place, out of 11 teams.

(May 3, 2019) – The Franklin Pierce University men’s track & field team was in action at Southern New Hampshire on Friday, on the first day of the Northeast-10 Conference Championships. Freshman Riley Fenoff (Danville, Vt.) led the way on the day with a second-place finish in the 10,000 meters, while two other Ravens qualified for event finals. The team is eighth, out of 10 teams, through the first day of the two-day meet.
Men’s Track & Field Takes Second at RPI in Final Pre-Championship Tune-Up

(April 27, 2019) – In its final tune-up before the championship season begins next week, the Franklin Pierce University men’s track & field team took second place, out of 13 teams, on Saturday at the Capital District Classic, hosted by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute at Harkness Field. The Ravens posted a trio of event wins and 13 top-five finishes on the day.

FITCHBURG, Mass. (April 20, 2019) – Just two weeks out from the Northeast-10 Conference Championships, the Franklin Pierce University men’s track & field team sent athletes to two locations on Saturday as part of the team’s final preparations. In New Jersey, a pair of Ravens posted NCAA Championships provisional qualifying times at the Larry Ellis Invitational, hosted by Princeton. In Massachusetts, it was seven event wins on the way to the team’s first meet win of the season, at the Eric Loeschner Memorial Invitational, hosted by Fitchburg State.

(April 13, 2019) – The Franklin Pierce University men’s track & field team collected 11 top-10 finishes on Saturday, led by a new shot put school record from freshman Croix Albee (Trenton, Maine), to post a fifth-place finish, out of 23 teams, at the Penmen Relays, hosted by Southern New Hampshire. On Friday, the Ravens also had select athletes in action at the Silfen Invitational, hosted by Connecticut College.

(April 4, 2019) – Junior Trevor Guay (Londonderry, N.H.) and senior CeCe Telfer (Lebanon, N.H.) of the Franklin Pierce University track & field program have been named Northeast-10 Conference Men’s and Women’s Track Athlete of the Week, respectively, for the week ending on March 31, as announced on Wednesday afternoon by the Conference office. For Telfer, it marked her second straight weekly award from the NE10.
