Men’s Track & Field 4x800 Earns Accusplit Relay Award

Accusplit Relay Awards

RINDGE, N.H. (December 14, 2017) – The Franklin Pierce University men’s track & field team’s 4x800-meter relay squad has earned an Accusplit Relay Award for its work during the 2017 outdoor season, as announced earlier this week, in conjunction with the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association’s annual convention.

Accusplit, which is a leader in the professional stopwatch and timing industry, issued awards to each relay team which posted the top time in its division last spring. Franklin Pierce posted the fastest 4x800-meter time in Division II during the outdoor season, clocking in at 7:39.02 on May 5, at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships. The Ravens’ lineup consisted of John Holmes, Tyler Hayes, Joshua Ercolini and Dage Minors.

The only other NE10 team to earn an Accusplit Relay Award for 2017 was Stonehill, which was honored for its work in the women’s 4x1500-meter relay.
