MYRTLE BEACH, SC (March 19, 2015) – The Franklin Pierce University men's track team competed at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational hosted by Coastal Carolina University. Sophomore Mark Josselyn (Halifax, Mass.) threw his personal best in the hammer throw at the Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium on Thursday.

Josselyn  placed 37^th out of 52 in the hammer throw to post his personal best at 33.80 meters.

Freshman Peter Murray (Tewksbury, Mass.) placed 44^th out of 51 in the hammer throw with a distance of 28.15 meters

Sophomore B.J. Smith (Concord, N.H.) placed 14^th out of 23 in the 10,000 meters with a time of 34:09.82.

The team will compete in day two of the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational tomorrow, March 20^th.
