Minors finishes seventh in 800 meters at BU Last Chance Meet
BOSTON, Mass. (March 1, 2015) – Sophomore Dage Minors (Hamilton Parrish, Bermuda) brought home a seventh place finish in the 800 meter dash on Sunday afternoon at the Boston University Last Chance Meet, hosted by Boston University.
Minors ran a time of 1:50.92 minutes during the race, which ended up being 11th best in the country. However, he has run a faster time this season, and currently ranks eighth in the country in the event. His time will also qualify him for the NCAA Championships.
In other track news, junior Vinny Biunno (Montgomery, N.Y.) might also join Minors at the NCAA Championships, as his performance in the heptathlon over the weekend might have given him enough points to participate as well.
The NCAA Championships will be March 13 and 14 at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Alabama.
