Before Franklin Pierce: Matt had an extremely successful high school career. During his freshman campaign he led his squad to the state tournament for the first time in five years...Sophomore year he led his team back to the State Tournament and made it to the preliminary rounds...In his junior season, the team had a 14-2-2 record and went back to the quarterfinals, but lost...Senior year he competed in the All-Star game and racked up 17 saves...He made the Dean's List every semester throughout high school....Matthew also competed on numerous club teams while winning four Rhode Island State Cups and was named a team captain for five seasons.
Personal: Matt is a health science major from Swansea, Mass....He is the son of Raul and Lisa Camara...Matthew has one brother; Zachary.
