Stewart Named Head Mens Soccer Coach at Franklin Pierce

RINDGE, N.H. (February 12, 2009) Franklin Pierce University has named Craig Stewart as the ninth head coach in the history of the mens soccer program this afternoon. The announcement was made by Bruce Kirsh, Vice President and Director of Athletics at the University.

RINDGE, N.H. (February 9, 2009) Five Franklin Pierce University student-athletes have been selected to the Northeast-10 Conference All-Academic Team for the fall season, as announced on Feb. 6 by the conference office. Sophomore midfielder Johan Torstensson (Falkoping, Sweden) of the mens soccer team; senior goalkeeper Brittany Ester (Toms River, N.J./Toms River East), sophomore forward Angelika Johansson (Falkenberg, Sweden) and junior defender Rachel Smith (Chichester, N.H./Bible Baptist (Pa.)) of the womens soccer team; and senior middle hitter Nicole Buchholz (Broadlands, Va./Stone Bridge) of the volleyball team represented Franklin Pierce among the 75 student-athletes honored by the Northeast-10.
Koolman Resigns Franklin Pierce Coaching Post

(February 4, 2009) Franklin Pierce University has announced the resignation of mens soccer head coach, Marco Koolman, to accept a coaching position with the mens soccer program at Boston College. The announcement was made this morning by Bruce Kirsh, Vice President and Director of Athletics at the University.
