Koolman Named NSCAA/adidas New England Region Coach of the Year

RINDGE, N.H. (December 13, 2004) Franklin Pierce mens soccer head coach, Marco Koolman, has been voted the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/adidas New England Region Coach of the Year by his peers. Koolman is now eligible for NSCAA/adidas Division II Coach of the Year accolades to be announced at the Associations winter convention in January.

(November 30, 2004) Two members of the Franklin Pierce mens soccer team earned spots on the ESPN The Magazine Academic District I College Division Mens Soccer Teams as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). The teams are selected by sports information directors from New England and New York in all three NCAA Divisions as well as the NAIA.

(October 31, 2004) Fourth-seeded Franklin Pierce took an early lead, and then iced the match late, in claiming a 2-0 victory over fifth-seeded Merrimack College in quarterfinal round action of the Northeast-10 Conference mens soccer tournament tonight. The match was the first night match held on the Franklin Pierce campus in school history.
