Brad Chapdelaine Chosen to NEILA Second Team

RINDGE, N.H. (May 16, 2017) – Franklin Pierce University men's lacrosse junior midfielder Brad Chapdelaine (Goffstown, N.H.) has been selected to the 2017 New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) Division II All-New England Second Team it was announced Tuesday afternoon.

Players were nominated by their own head coaches and the teams were voted on by head coaches in their respective divisions. There is a First Team and a Second Team for Division I and II and a First, Second and Honorable Mention Team for Division III as well as a Player and Coach of the Year for each Division.

Chapdelaine was the lone short stick/defender midfielder on the Second Team and was the only Raven to be honored. Last season he was named to the All-New England First Team.

The junior played in 13 games including 12 starts for the Crimson and Grey. He caused seven turnovers, which was fifth best on the team, scooped up 18 groundballs and tallied a goal and an assist on the offensive end.  Over the course of his collegiate career, Chapdelaine has played in 42 games and amassed a total of 72 groundballs, 26 caused turnovers, three goals, three assists and six points.
