RINDGE, N.H. (May 17, 2016) -- The Franklin Pierce University men's lacrosse team has had two named the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) Division II All-New England Teams, as announced last week by the NEILA. Sophomore midfielder Brad Chapdelaine (Goffstown, N.H.) was named to the NEILA Division II All-New England First Team and sophomore midfielder Sean Delea (Hampstead, N.H.) was named to the All-New England Second Team for their standout performances this past season.

Starting in all 13 games this season in the midfield, Delea recorded 36 total points. Of those 36 points, 25 were goals, as he led the team in goal-scoring this season, while 11 were assists. Against Southern New Hampshire University on April 16, he tailed six points off five goals and an assist, his highest goal output of the season. He also tallied six points against Assumption on April 6, with three goals and three assists.

Delea is not new to NEILA accolades, as he was named to the NEILA Second Team as a freshman last year.

Also starting in all 13 games for the Ravens was Chapdelaine. Playing the midfield throughout the year, he collected a total of 30 ground balls, ranking third on the team, to go with 12 caused turnovers, and he also tallied two points, off a goal and an assist. His assist was against Southern New Hampshire University, while his lone goal came in the last game of the season against Pace, on April 30. He had a season high of five ground balls in games against Post University (March 5) and American International (March 26), and caused three turnovers against Assumption. Chapdelaine played a key role in for the Ravens defensively throughout the season

Chapdelaine earns his first NEILA nod, to go with a selection to the Northeast-10 Conference All-Rookie team last year as a freshman.
