Men’s Ice Hockey’s Foley Picked as NE10 Player of the Week

Northeast-10 Men's Ice Hockey Weekly Report

MANSFIELD, Mass. (November 22, 2022) -- Senior Conor Foley (Nahant, Mass.) of the Franklin Pierce University men's ice hockey team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week, for the week ending on Nov. 20, as announced on Monday afternoon by the league office.

Foley chalked up six points over the course of a two-game weekend split at home against Southern New Hampshire, as he scored three goals and dished out three assists. In Friday's 7-4 loss to the Penmen, he scored a goal and contributed a pair of assists. In Saturday's 5-4 (OT) win, he scored twice, including a power-play tally and the third-period goal which forced overtime, and chipped in an assist as well. Over the two games, Foley recorded 12 shots and was even in plus/minus.

On the season, Foley -- who should be on the shortlist for NE10 Player of the Year accolades at season's end -- leads the league in points (13), goals (8) and shots (38).

Foley and the rest of the Ravens (5-3-0) are back in action on Tuesday night, when they travel to Framingham State for a non-conference contest at 7:40 p.m.
