Northeast-10 Men's Ice Hockey Weekly Release (PDF)

RINDGE, N.H. (February 5, 2018) – Senior forward Jonathan Haun (Buffalo, N.Y.) of the Franklin Pierce University men’s ice hockey team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week, for the week ending on Feb. 4, as announced on Monday afternoon by the Conference office.

In Franklin Pierce’s only game last week, Haun went off for four points in a 7-4 win over Post at home on Tuesday night. He picked up an assist late in the first period, when the Ravens took the lead for good, and added two more assists in the second period. Haun capped his night with a third-period insurance goal which created the 7-4 final.

On the season, Haun has played in all 21 of the team’s games, and is third on the team in scoring. He has notched 15 points on six goals and nine assists, and has tallied one power-play goal and one game-winning goal along the way.

The Ravens (6-14-1) return to the ice on Feb. 9-10, when they host Saint Anselm in an NE10 weekend series. Opening faceoff is set for 7:30 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday at the Jason Ritchie Ice Arena in Winchendon.
