Bio

C.J. Konkowski enters his fifth season and second as the associate head coach with the Franklin Pierce University men's and women's golf programs in 2019-20.

Konkowski was instrumental to the Ravens success at the NCAA Division II Men's Golf Atlantic/East Regional in May of 2018 as acting head coach. Konkowski helped lead the Ravens to a berth to the NCAA Division II Championship as the Crimson and Grey placed second out of the field of 20 regional programs in Daniels, W.Va. Under Konkowski's guidance, the Ravens never slid below second place during regional play.

No stranger to Rindge, Konkowski makes his collegiate coaching debut in the same place he opened his career as a student-athlete. He was a member of the 2011-12 squad before transferring to the University of New Hampshire to finish his studies. Konkowski contributed as a freshman at Franklin Pierce and was a member of the team which earned the program's first berth to NCAA Championship play.

Despite just one year on the links for the Crimson and Grey, Konkowski posted a handful of highlights during his time as a Raven, highlighted by a two-shot victory in the second Franklin Pierce Invitational of that spring. Just three weeks prior, he had tied for the low 36-hole score of the first Franklin Pierce Invitational of the spring, though he was ultimately defeated on the first playoff hole. In the fall, Konkowski had tied for second, two shots off the lead, while leading the Ravens to the team title at the fall edition of the Franklin Pierce Invitational. In the postseason that fall, he fired a 74-83--157 (+13) to place 16th at the Northeast-10 Championship.

Konkowski qualified for the 2014 USGA Public Links Championship. Following his one season at FPU, Konkowski went on the University of New Hampshire where he was a five-time NCCGA All-American. He placed third in three straight years at the NHPGA Championship in 2015 (73-72), 2016 (70-70) and 2017 (74-67).

Originally from West Chesterfield, N.H., Konkowski graduated from New Hampshire in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in business and is pursuing his master's degree at Franklin Pierce.
