ENDICOTT, N.Y. (September 30, 2018) – The Franklin Pierce University men's golf team is currently tied for third place with two other programs following the opening 18 holes of the 2018 Northeast-10 Conference Championship at the En-Joie Golf Club.

Franklin Pierce, Assumption College, and host Le Moyne College all shot a 297 (+9) and are slotted third. The Ravens trail Bentley University by nine strokes for second place and Southern New Hampshire University by 11 for the top spot.

"Our guys played solid today, we just didn't capitalize on some makeable putts," said head coach Tyler Bishop. "There is no pressure on us tomorrow. We are going to go out there, fire at some pins and hopefully make some putts."

Junior Keeton Foster (Spofford, N.H.) and sophomore Dylan Plis (Camillus, N.Y.) ranked within the individual top-10 for FPU. Foster shot a round one 72 (E) which placed him in a tie for fifth. Plis was only one over par as he turned in a 73 (+1) scorecard.

Liam Donohue (Vernon, Conn.) carded 75 (+3), Nathan Patterson (Conway, Mass.) rolled up a 77 (+5) and Sam Myers (Colchester, Vt.) concluded the Raven scoring at 79 (+7).

The Ravens will look to improve their standing and hope to capture the conference title tomorrow.
