RINDGE, N.H. (June 27, 2018) – Franklin Pierce University outgoing senior Camden Morrison (Millis, Mass.) headlined the Raven selections during the Northeast-10 Conference Golf awards with her second consecutive Women's Golfer of the Year nod it was announced Tuesday morning by the league offices.

On the men's side, freshman Dylan Plis (Camillus, N.Y.) was also a major award winner as he took home the NE10 Rookie of the Year award. Morrison and Plis earned bids to their respective sports All-Conference First Teams as well.

Head Coach Tyler Bishop was chosen as the Coach of the Year for both the men's and women's programs. It's the second straight season Bishop has earned NE10 Women's Coach of the Year honors. The 2008 and 2010 graduate of Franklin Pierce helped lead the Crimson and Grey to both NCAA Tournaments this past spring. The women's squad brought home their first-ever conference title last September and captured their inaugural NCAA Tournament Bid as well.

Under the guidance of Bishop, the Raven men appeared in NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Regional for the second consecutive year. FPU was the runner-up in Daniels, W.Va. collectively earning the program's first appearance in the NCAA National Championship.

Four other golfers were honored with All-Conference selections. For the men, sophomore Keeton Foster (Spofford, N.H.) was named to the NE10 Second Team and for the women, Zoe Yamamoto (Honolulu, Hawaii) joined Morrison on the First Team while Sarah Daley (Beverly, Mass.) and outgoing senior Taylor Schmidt (West Springfield, Mass.) were placed on the Second Team.

Morrison was a four-time NE10 Golfer of the Week and a member of the NE10 All-Championship Team. The team captain placed below third only once over the course of the campaign. She totaled three individual titles at the Le Moyne Fall Invitational (145, +1), the FPU Fall Invitational (149, +5) and the Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational (152, +12). Morrison placed second three times as well at the Michael Corbett Fall Classic (149, +5), the Saint Rose Spring Classic (161, +17) and the NE10 Championship (143, -1). During the conference championship, Morrison produced a career-low 67 (-5) round one total in intense heat. She capped off her top-three finishes with two third-place showings at the Penmen Labor Day Classic (145, +1) and the Assumption College Invitational (79, +7).

At regionals, Morrison tied for fifth place with Annika Haynes of the University of Indianapolis at 222 (+6). She shot a low round of 71 (-1), led the field in total pars (40) and ranked second in par 4 scoring (4.08, +2). In her second appearance at the national championship, she tied for 19th place at 300 (+12).

Plis was a three-time NE10 Rookie of the Week and notched All-New England Honors by placing second (144, E) at the 83rd Annual NEIGA Championship. Plis shot a consistent 72 both rounds as the freshman tallied his only top-two finish of the season. He recorded two other top-10 performances this season in the fall at the FPU Fall Invitational (T4th, 149, +5) and the Saint Rose Fall Shootout (T9th, 149, +7). Plis shot a season-low 70 (+1) during the opening round of the Penmen Fall Invitational. In his first ever regional tournament, Plis concluded play at 228 (+12) in West Virginia and knocked off five strokes from his Tuesday card to complete his 18 Wednesday at 75 (+3). At the national championship, the rising sophomore carried the Ravens throughout the three-day tourney posting a team-low 225 (+9) scorecard. He recorded a career round on Wednesday at the championships when he shot a team-best 69 (-3).

Foster earned his second consecutive NE10 Second Team selection this year. This season he tallied three top-10 finishes including two runner-ups at the season-opening FPU Fall Invitational (147, +3) and the Saint Rose Fall Shootout (145, +3). Foster added two 11th place performances while also chipping in a tie for 12th and 13th. The sophomore's best round of the campaign came during the second day of the FPU Fall Invitational when he shot a 71 (-1). He scored a 225 (+9) across the three days of regional action totaling a team-low 72 (E) on Tuesday including an 80-foot eagle putt on the fifth green. In Muscle Shoals, Ala., Foster produced a 226 (+10) three-day total knocking off strokes from his card each day.

Yamamoto recorded a solid sophomore season where she like Morrison, finished beyond the top-10 only once. She tallied five top-five finishes including a season-low 150 (+6) at the Le Moyne Fall Invitational. Yamamoto's best round of the year came during the second day at Le Moyne when she shot a 74 (+2). At the regionals, Yamamoto tied for 30th place after shooting a three-round total of 237 (+21).

Daley joined Morrison on the NE10 All-Championship Team after a shooting a consistent 79 (+7) over both rounds of the tourney to finish fifth at 158 (+14). The junior placed within the top-five four times. In the final tune-up before the Regionals, Daley placed third during the Saint Rose Spring Classic (163, +19). At the FPU Fall Invitational in October, Daley turned in a season-low 74 (+2) round one scorecard. In Houston during regional competition, Daley shot a 246 (+30).

Schmidt, a one-time NE10 Golfer of the Week participated in every tournament for the Crimson and Grey. The senior was a runner-up twice, once in the fall and once in the spring. At the FPU Fall Invitational, Schmidt finished both rounds at 153 (+9) and a few weeks ago at the Assumption College Invitational, she totaled a 77 (+5). Her best round of the season came during day two of the FPU Fall Invitational when she putted home a 75 (+3). Schmidt was 244 (+4) in Houston at regionals and tallied a low of 79 (+7) during round one.
