Donohue Turns in a 74 as Ravens Stand in Eighth Place Through 18 Holes at Le Moyne

CICERO, N.Y. (October 13, 2017) The Franklin Pierce University men's golf program traveled to the Lake Shore Yacht & Country Club for the first round of the Le Moyne Fall Invitational on Friday.

The Ravens golfed a 307 (+19) through the first 18 holes on the par 72, 6,506 yard course. Franklin Pierce stands in eighth place and holds a narrow one-stroke advantage over Post University and West Chester University. Rollins College turned in a 291 (+3) team total and they hold a three-stroke edge over second place squad Laval University and a five-stroke lead versus third-place team St. Thomas Aquinas College.

Sophomore Liam Donohue (Vernon, Conn.) was the only Raven golfer to finish round one within the top-15 as he is currently tied for 13th place at 74 (+2). Keeton Foster (Spofford, N.H.) and teammate Sam Myers (Colchester, Vt.) completed the day at 77 (+5) and tied for 37th place individually.

Reigning NE10 Rookie of the Week, Dylan Plis (Camillus, N.Y.) shot a 79 (+7) on Friday while team captain Tom Arisco (Cheshire, Conn.) rounded out the Raven showings at 89 (+17).

The Crimson and Grey look to climb the overall leaderboard tomorrow.
