BREWSTER, Mass. (October 23, 2016) – The Franklin Pierce men's golf team headed to Cape Cod for the 82nd Annual New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championships Sunday in Brewster, Mass.

The Ravens placed second of nine Division II squads with a 313 (+25) score, only trailing Northeast-10 opponent Southern New Hampshire by five strokes (308, +20). The College of Saint Rose and St. Anselm are tied for third at 314 (+26) each.

Taylor Simpson (Londonderry, N.H.) is tied for second place individually at 75 (+3) through the first day of competition. Teammate Keeton Foster (Chesterfield, N.H.) golfed a 76 (+4) and ranks tied for fourth place at the end of day one.
