Myers Tied With Two Golfers For First Place After Day One at Le Moyne
CICERO, N.Y. (October 16, 2016) – Freshman Sam Myers (Colchester, Vt.) golfed two under par as the Franklin Pierce University men's golf team returned from a week hiatus and competed in the Le Moyne Fall Invitational at the Lake Shore Yacht & Country Club Sunday.
Myers, the club house leader, is tied with Collin Engelhardt from Rollins College and Brendan Hunter of St. Thomas Aquinas for first. All three golfers stroked a 70 (-2).
As a team, the Ravens are in ninth place at 311 (+23) and have a chance to improve their place in the standings tomorrow when they tee off at 9:20 a.m. on the front nine.
