MIDDLETOWN, R.I. (April 13, 2016) -- The Franklin Pierce University men's golf team took home a fourth-place finish at the Bentley Newport Division II Invitational on Wednesday. Senior Nick Adjutant (Rochester, N.H.) led the way for the Ravens, as he shot 76 (+4).

The Ravens shot 309 (+21) as a team on the afternoon at the par-72 Newport National Golf Course, which was good for a fourth-place finish to wrap up the team's 2015-16 season.

Adjutant finished only four above par, and tied for an eighth-place finish with his performance.

Just one stroke behind Adjutant was fellow senior Travis Landry (Loudon, N.H.) who shot 77 (+5) for a 13th place tie to close out his career.

Three Ravens shot 78 (+6), as sophomore Taylor Simpson (Londonderry, N.H.), senior Brad Auclair (Cumberland, R.I.) and sophomore Tom Arisco (Cheshire, Conn.) all finished in a tie for 16th place.

Leading the way on the links on Wednesday was the University of Massachusetts Lowell, which was only 12 above par as a team, shooting 300. Bentley finished one stroke ahead of the Ravens, firing a 308 (+20) to take third place.
