DAY 2 RESULTS

KEENE, N.H. (September 30, 2013) -- Franklin Pierce University junior golfer Stew Wise (Angiers, N.C.) shot a final round 76 (+4) on Monday to finish tied for eighth at the 2013 Northeast-10 Conference Golf Championship at the Bretwood Country Club North Course in Keene, N.H.

The Ravens, as a team, shot a 322 (+34) during the final round to finish with a 36-hole score of 636 (+60), and place ninth out of 10 in the team standings.

Wise carded a two-round total of 153 (+9), as his top-10 finish earned him Second-Team All-Northeast-10 honors. He became the third Ravens golfer over the last three years to earn All-NE-10 honors, joining former standouts B.J. Powers and Ian Landry in 2011.

Sophomore Brad Auclair (Cumberland, R.I.) finished tied for 28th after shooting a final round 79 (+7), and finishing with a two-day total of 159 (+15). Auclair was the third Raven to card a round in the 70s during the two-day tournament, joining Wise (both days in the 70s) and classmate Nick Adjutant (Rochester, N.H.), who shot a 79 in the first round. Speaking of Adjutant, he finished six spots back on Auclair in 34th after firing a final round 85 on Monday.

Sophomore Sean Shepard (Griswold, Conn.) and senior Adam Spencer (Jericho, Vt.) rounded out the Ravens' starting five, as they finished 38th and 42nd, respectively. Shepard shot an 84 (+12) on Monday to finish with a 164 (+20) for the tournament, while Spencer threw in an 83 (+11) to card a two-day total of 165 (+21).

Adelphi won the team championship for the second-consecutive year (596, +20 over the two rounds), and was led by individual champion Ryan Snouffer, who shot a six-under-par, 66, in the final round.

Franklin Pierce returns to action Oct. 11-12, when the Ravens compete in the Saint Rose Fall Shootout at Pinehaven Country Club in Guilderland, N.Y.
