Nick Adjutant Finishes Second at Bentley Classic

Nick Adjutant produces highest finish of his career

PLYMOUTH, Mass. (April 5, 2014) – Franklin Pierce University sophomore golfer Nick Adjutant (Rochester, N.H.) fired a nine-over-par, 80, during Saturday’s final round of the Bentley Cape Cod Classic, to finish second with a two-round score of 151 (+9). It was the highest individual finish for Adjutant’s career.

The Ravens, as a team, shot a 41-over-par, 325, on Saturday to finish the tournament tied for fourth with a 649 (+81). American International won the tournament with a two-day total of 624 (+56).

Sophomore Sean Shepard (Griswold, Conn.) rebounded in round two with an impressive score as he shot a 77 (+6) to finish 10th with a two-day score of 160 (+18). Classmate Brad Auclair (Cumberland, R.I.) carded an 80 (+9) to finish with a 162 (+20), which was good for 14th place.

Freshmen Ben French (Fremont, N.H.) and Cameron Gilbert (Braintree, Mass.) finished in 29th and 35th place, respectively. French shot a pair of 88’s in the tournament, while Gilbert carded a final round 99.
