Ravens Finish Eighth In Schenectady

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (February 3, 2018) – The Franklin Pierce University men's bowling team placed eighth out of 21 programs at the Boulevard Bowl Invitational hosted by the Boulevard Bowl Saturday.

The Ravens amassed three straight totals of 1,000+ over their final three games of the invite. Their highest pinfall of 1,057 came during game three where Ben Drogue (Keene, N.H.) rolled a day best 252 frame. Franklin Pierce's final score was 6,981 and were only 14 pins behind the sixth-place finisher.

Nick Fabiano (Emerson, N.J.) tallied a 17th place finish with a total pinfall of 1,070. He rolled a personal day-high of 235 during game one and game four. Drogue rounded out the Ravens top-20 finishes at the 19th spot with a score of 1,057.

William Robinson (Keene, N.H.) was one pin shy of a 1,000 pin afternoon. He finished with a 999 and rolled three games over 200, his best coming in his last string of the day (226, game five). Connor Bean (Windsor, Vt.) racked up 935 pins and a high of 210 while Ryan DesRuisseaux (Goffstown, N.H.) tallied a 926 and personal day-best 202 in the fourth game.

The Ravens return to the lanes tomorrow for the Boulevard Bowl Invitational.
