Men’s Bowling Travels to New Jersey for Northeast Classic

LODI, N.J. (December 2, 2017) – After two weeks away from the lanes, the Franklin Pierce University men's bowling team headed back to the lanes to compete at the Northeast Classic hosted by the Lodi Lanes on Saturday.

Currently, the Ravens are in 19th place with a total pinfall of 4,018. Their high-game was game one when they rolled an 810. The William Paterson University varsity team (6,022 pins) holds down the top spot while the Rochester Institute of Technology (6,000 pins) and the William Paterson JV1 squad (5,841) rounds out the top-three.

Freshman Ben Drogue (Keene, N.H.) was the Ravens best bowler as he finished Saturday in 34th place out of 139 bowlers. Drogue dropped 1,060 pins and his high-game was a 231. Teammate William Robinson (Keene, N.H.) closed out the Ravens top-50 individual showings, as he placed 50th with a 997 total wood score. He also racked up a team-best 246 in his squads high-game.

Sophomore Ryan DesRuisseaux (Goffstown, N.H.) finished behind Robinson in 53rd place at 986. Nick Fabiano (Emerson, N.J.) rolled a 975 and a day best 247 in his final string of the day.

The Ravens return to the alley tomorrow.
