Men’s Bowling Competes at SCCC Invitational

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (February 4, 2018) – The Franklin Pierce University men's bowling team rounded out its weekend on Sunday at the SCCC Invitational.

Highlighting the day for the Ravens was a school single-game record from freshman Ben Drogue (Keene, N.H.), who fired a 268 in his first game of the day. Drogue would break 200 in his final of five games on the day as well, with a 215, as he averaged 204.4 on the way to 1022 of total pinfall.

It was all part of a 4221-pin performance for Franklin Pierce through five games of individual play. Behind Drogue, it was senior William Robinson (Keene, N.H.), who topped out at 194 on the way to an 895-pin day, as he averaged 179. Freshman Nick Fabiano (Emerson, N.J.) knocked down 813 pins to average 162.6 over the five games.

The Ravens added 1621 pins across 10 games of baker play (162.1 average) to finish with 5842 total pins on the day. The team's highest baker score was a 189, in the eighth of 10 games.

The Ravens are back in action on Saturday, Feb. 10, when they head to Manalapan, N.J. for the EIBC Championship.
