Isaiah Moore Selected To NABC Division II All-America & All-District East First Team

Kansas City, MO (3/22/22)- Franklin Pierce University men's basketball forward Isaiah Moore (Temple Hills, MD) was recently selected to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District East First Team and the Division II All-America Team for the 2022 season, per the official morning announcement on Tuesday, 3/22/22.

For Moore, this is the first time in his collegiate career receiving both honors. From a team perspective, Moore joins elite company as the first player to receive the All-District East honors since the 2013-14 season (Ellis Cooper), and the All-America selection since the 2012-13 campaign (Eric Jean-Guillaume).

The pair of awards accentuates what has proven to be an award filled season for the third-year forward, who for this season has also earned the Northeast 10 Player of the Year & First-Team selection, was a three-time recipient of the NE10 Player of the Week, and was selected to the Division II CCA All-East Region First Team. Moore also hit an important milestone in his collegiate career, recording his 1000th career point in a victory against St. Michael's College back on February, 12th.

Through this past season, Moore scored an average of 22.6 points, where he ranked first in the NE10 Conference, alongside a consistent 5.4 assists and 4.9 rebounds per-game for Franklin Pierce. In addition to leading the NE10, Moore finished the season ranking 9th in NCAA DII in points-per-game.

From a team perspective, Franklin Pierce had a year to remember this past season, playing to an 15-9 regular season record, while advancing to the NE10 Championship round. Their stellar play earned them a spot in the NCAA DII Tournament, which for the Ravens was their first trip in seven seasons, and just their seventh appearance all-time.
