Bio

Lepore Brittany Lepore finished her second season as an Assistant Coach with the Franklin Pierce Univeristy field hockey team in 2016.

A four-year starter on the backline at Franklin Pierce (bio), Lepore makes her collegiate coaching debut at her alma mater. A strong defensive presence throughout her career, she played in all but one game over her four seasons in crimson and grey and started all but four. When she graduated, Lepore was tied for third in program history in defensive saves (7) with Kayleigh Jaksina '09. In addition, she was tied for 12th in program annals in games played (71), with former teammate Chanelle Letarte '14, as well as Angela Barone.

In her freshman season of 2011, Lepore joined tri-captain Beth Haight '12 and Alyssa Juszczyk '13 on a formidable backline which anchored arguably the best season in program history, as the Ravens finished third in the Northeast-10 and hosted the quarterfinal round of the Northeast-10 Championship. Along with two-way midfielder Kim Jaksina '12, the trio allowed 7.84 shots on goal per game, the third-lowest number in the league, while also allowing opponents to put just 51.92% of their shot attempts on target, the best such percentage among Northeast-10 defensive units. For her work that season, Lepore was named to the Northeast-10 All-Rookie Team.

Originally from Barnstable, Mass., Lepore graduated from Franklin Pierce in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in social work & counseling. She is pursuing her MBA in leadership at the University.
