Field Hockey’s Moulton Selected to NFHCA Senior Game

NFHCA Senior Game selections

RINDGE, N.H. (October 22, 2017) – Senior midfielder Raegan Moulton (Baldwinville, Mass.) of the Franklin Pierce University field hockey team has been selected to participate in the Victory Sports Tours/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division II Senior Game, as announced late last week by the NFHCA. She is among 38 student-athletes selected to participate in the event.

The 2018 edition of the NFHCA Senior Game is set for Friday, Nov. 30 at 3 p.m., and will be hosted by Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Duquesne’s Arthur J. Rooney Athletic Field will also host the semifinal round of the NCAA Championship the day before, while the national title game will follow on Dec. 1.

In her senior season, Moulton has started all 12 games in the midfield for the Ravens. She is tied for the team scoring lead with nine points, on two goals and five assists, the latter of which is also tied for the team lead. Moulton has attempted a team-best 33 shots, including 15 shots on goal, and converted on her only penalty-stroke attempt of the year.

For her career, Moulton has started in all 47 games she has played for the Ravens over three years on the field. She has collected 41 career points, on 14 goals and 13 assists, while attempting 110 shots, including 52 on goal. Moulton has tallied five game-winning goals as a Raven. She will finish her career in the top three in program history in goals, assists and points, and is currently tied for third in school annals in assists.

The Ravens return to the field on Tuesday, Oct. 23, when they return home to host Bentley in a Northeast-10 Conference contest. Game time is set for 4 p.m. at Sodexo Field in Rindge.
