Keith Simpson enters his second season as an assistant coach with the Franklin Pierce University baseball team in 2018.

A four-year player at Keene State (bio), Simpson appeared in 37 games (nine starts) on the mound for the Owls, including a career-best 20 appearances as a senior in 2016. For his career, he logged 90.2 innings, allowed 62 runs (45 earned) on 106 hits, walked 36 and struck out 54 (5.36 per 9 IP). In all, Simpson posted a 4.47 ERA and a 2-9 record, recorded one save and threw one complete game.

Originally from Londonderrry, N.H., Simpson is a 2016 graduate of Keene State. He is pursuing his master's degree at Franklin Pierce.
