Northeast-10 Baseball Weekly Report (PDF)

RINDGE, N.H. (May 1, 2018) – Senior center fielder Adam Chase (Bridgewater, Mass.) of the Franklin Pierce University baseball team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Co-Player of the week, for the week ending on April 29, as announced on Monday afternoon by the NE10. Chase shares the award with Southern New Hampshire senior outfielder Caleb Potter.

Chase hit .450/.500/1.000 for a 1.500 OPS over 20 at-bats (9- for-20) in a 4-1 week for the Ravens. He hit three doubles, one triple and two home runs, scored seven times and drove in 11 runs. Chase went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, scored twice and drove in two runs in a win at Assumption on Thursday. In the second game of Saturday’s doubleheader sweep of Bentley, he went 3-for-4 with a two-run triple and a two-run homer.

On the season, through 40 games and 153 at-bats (48-for-152), Chase has slashed .314/.422/.484 with 11 doubles, three triples and three home runs. He has scored 34 runs and driven in 30, and has walked 22 times against 24 strikeouts.

The Ravens (27-12-1, 16-6 NE10, 11-5 NE Div.) return to the field on Tuesday, May 1, when they travel to Saint Anselm for a NE10 Northeast Division contest. First pitch is set for 3 p.m. at Sullivan Park in Manchester, N.H.
