RINDGE, N.H. (April 10, 2017) – Junior third baseman John Friday (Southborough, Mass.) of the Franklin Pierce University baseball team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week, as announced on Monday afternoon by the Conference office.

In a 4-2 week for the Ravens, Friday put together a .480/.500/.840 slash line. He went 12-for-25 on the week, with three doubles and two home runs, scored eight times and drove in seven runs.

In last Monday's win over Assumption, Friday went 3-5 with a double, scored twice, and drove in two. In the first game against SCSU on Sunday, he went 4-5 with two doubles and two home runs, scored four times and drove in three runs. Friday finished the doubleheader 5-for-8 with six runs scored and four runs batted in.

The Ravens return to the field on Tuesday, April 11, when they remain home to host Saint Michael's in an NE10 Northeast Division contest. First pitch is set for 7 p.m. at Pappas Field.
