RINDGE, N.H. (February 15, 2018) – A total of 244 student-athletes in the Franklin Pierce University Department of Athletics have been named to the 2017 fall semester edition of the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll, as announced last week by the Conference office. In addition, 12 student-athletes garnered perfect, 4.0 grade-point averages.

To be selected to the Commissioner’s Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have posted at least a 3.0 grade-point average during the semester.

The 12 student-athletes who earned perfect 4.0 GPAs in the fall represented nine different programs: baseball’s Mike Coggeshall (Shrewsbury, Mass.); men’s cross country/track & field’s Martin Gradijan (Lebanon, N.H.); men’s lacrosse’s Mike Donlan (Londonderry, N.H.) and Gabe Luciani (Keene, N.H.); women’s cross country/track & field’s Rebecca Zylak (Goffstown, N.H.); field hockey’s Olivia Kowatch (Port Ewen, N.Y.); women’s lacrosse’s Briana Sweeney (Shirley, N.Y.); women’s soccer’s Sophie Cousineau (Milton, Mass.), Aimee Malboeuf (Cumberland, R.I.), Samantha Rodrigues (Rehoboth, Mass.) and Kiley Vermette (Enfield, Conn.); and women’s track & field’s Eileen Savinelli (Goffstown, N.H.).

Franklin Pierce sponsors 17 sports which compete within the NE10, in which 413 student-athletes participate. In all, 59% of the institution’s NE10 student-athletes earned Commissioner’s Honor Roll accolades.
