236 Ravens Land on Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll

Northeast-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll

RINDGE, N.H. (July 17, 2017) – A total of 236 student-athletes in the Franklin Pierce University Department of Athletics have been named to the 2017 spring semester edition of the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll, as announced earlier this summer by the Conference office. In addition, 24 student-athletes garnered perfect, 4.0 grade-point averages.

To be selected to the Commissioner's Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have posted at least a 3.0 grade-point average during the semester.

The 24 student-athletes who earned perfect 4.0 GPAs in the spring represented 13 different programs: baseball's John Amendola; field hockey's Morgan Caisse and Carly Canavan; women's cross country/track & field's Alexa Cassara, Danielle Crawford, Rebecca Haluch, Holly Lindoe, Catherine Purves, Eileen Savinelli and Rebecca Zylak; men's cross country/track & field's Mark Choiniere, John Delahanty, Martin Gradijan and Peter Murray; volleyball's Kelsey Hausman; women's soccer's Anna Holtschlag; men's soccer's Niklas Laudahn; men's tennis' Marcus Lawrence; women's basketball's Kelsey Mayo; women's tennis' Sarah Rich; men's lacrosse's Brian Schiavi; men's ice hockey's Alex Schleper and Shepheard Stahel; and women's golf's Taylor Schmidt.

Franklin Pierce sponsors 17 sports which compete within the NE10. Of the 15 members of the Conference, Franklin Pierce's 236 honorees ranked eighth in the league. The Ravens had 61% of their student-athletes placed on the Commissioner's Honor Roll, which ranked 10th in the NE10. Adelphi (79%) had the highest percentage of student-athletes selected, while Bentley (376) had the most individuals recognized.
