RINDGE, N.H. (March 31, 2017) – Due to the impending arrival of Winter Storm Theseus – named, of course, for the Greek mythology figure who slew the Minotaur – the Franklin Pierce University Department of Athletics has announced multiple changes to its schedule for the upcoming weekend. Changes are as follows:

- Track & Field – Saturday's CGA Spring Invitational at Coast Guard has been canceled.

- Rowing – Saturday's trip to a regatta at Massachusetts Maritime has been canceled.

- Softball – Saturday's doubleheader at Stonehill has been postponed.

***UPDATE (12:30 p.m. Saturday) -- The rescheduled softball doubleheader on Sunday has been postponed as well. The two teams will attempt to meet for a twinbill on Monday at Stonehill, beginning at 3 p.m.

- Women's Lacrosse – Saturday's home game against New Haven has been postponed. The two teams will now meet at New Haven on Sunday, April 2, instead. Game time is set for 1 p.m. at Kayo Field in West Haven, Conn.

***UPDATE (Sunday night) -- The midweek women's lacrosse game at Merrimack was moved back to Tuesday at 4 p.m. in North Andover.

- Baseball – Saturday's home doubleheader against Assumption has been postponed. The two teams will now meet in a doubleheader on Sunday, slated for a 4 p.m. start at Pappas Field.

***UPDATE (12:30 p.m. Friday) -- The remaining game in the baseball series against Assumption has been rescheduled for a 3 p.m. start on Monday at Pappas Field.

- Women's Tennis – Sunday's home match against Holy Cross will still be played at its scheduled time, but will now be played indoors, at the Grimshaw-Gudewicz Activity Center at Northfields ("The Bubble").

***UPDATE (2 p.m. Monday) -- Monday afternoon's women's tennis match against Gordon has been postponed. No makeup date has been announced at this time.

- Men's Lacrosse – Saturday's game at Le Moyne will be played as scheduled, at 2 p.m. in Syracuse, N.Y.

***UPDATE (12:30 p.m. Saturday) -- The start time for Wednesday's men's lacrosse game at Assumption has been moved to 4 p.m.
