Bio

David Tuttle enters his second year as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communication for Franklin Pierce University in 2023-24.

Throughout his first year in the athletic communications office, Tuttle worked with a variety of teams that each saw their share of regular and postseason success, including the 2023 National Champion men's soccer program. In total, Tuttle went along for the ride on four Northeast-10 Conference Championship appearances, one Northeast-10 Conferece title, and four NCAA DII Tournament runs. In addition to his sport-specific duties, Tuttle currently works with the office's student gameday assistants, including the FPU Athletics social media and video teams, and also oversees operation is the official Athletics website, athletics.franklinpierce.edu, and it's multiple functions ranging from live video, roster and schedule management and event recaps. 

As a graduate from Saint Joseph's College of Maine '21 with a B.S. in Sports Communication, David officially joined Franklin Pierce athletics in March of 2022. During his time in undergrad, he developed a background in intercollegiate athletics while spending three years as an intern within the Saint Joseph's College sports information office, while additionally serving as both a public address and play-by-play announcer for the college's various athletic teams and events. As a member of Division-III's Great Northeast Atheltic Conference, David spent four seasons as a track and field athlete. 

Post graduation, David made his first stop and entered the realm of professional hockey, spending the majority of the 2021-22 season with the Maine Mariners of the ECHL out of Portland, Maine. With them, he primarily served as a gameday media assistant, while occassionally helping with the Mariners promotional team. In addition to his position with Franklin Pierce, David also serves as a play-by-play voice for the Eastern Hockey League (EHL), primarily based out of Exeter, N.H. with the Seacoast Spartans.  

Originally from Maine, David currently resides in Gardner, Massachusetts.
