RINDGE, N.H. (July 2, 2013) – Franklin Pierce University men’s lacrosse standout Ben McDannell (Morrisville, Pa.) and baseball standout Ryan Thompson (Calgary, Alberta) were named to the 2013 Northeast-10 Conference All-Academic Team in their respective sport on Tuesday as announced by the league. It marked the second-consecutive year both student-athletes were named to the NE-10 academic squads.

RINDGE, N.H. (July 1, 2013) – Franklin Pierce University recently had 213 of its student-athletes named to the Spring 2013 Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll. The total number came from 18 teams on the Rindge campus that compete in the Northeast-10 Conference.

RINDGE, N.H. (May 10, 2013) -- Franklin Pierce University President Dr. James F. Birge and Director of Athletics Bruce Kirsh announced on Friday the institution will add the sports of women's golf and women's bowling to its varsity athletics lineup beginning in the 2014-15 school year. In addition to those new offerings, the University will also enhance the sport of women's rowing beginning in that same year.

(March 14, 2013) – Three Franklin Pierce University student-athletes have been named to the fall 2012 Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference Team in their respective sports, as announced recently by the Conference office. Men’s soccer graduate student back Tom Leaver (Warwickshire, United Kingdom), women’s soccer graduate student midfielder Aya Noguchi (Tokyo, Japan) and volleyball junior outside hitter Natasha Ray (Colorado Springs, Colo.) were among 87 athletes across seven sports honored by the Northeast-10.

The event will be held in conjunction with the men's and women's basketball doubleheader versus Pace, which begins at 1:30 p.m. with the women's contest, followed by the men's contest at 3:30 p.m.
